DESCRIPTION:<p>	Jane Ohlmeyer is Erasmus Smith’s Professor of Modern History (1762) at Trinity College Dublin and Chair of the Irish Research Council, which funds frontier research across all disciplines. She was the founding Head of the School of Histories and Humanities, Trinity’s first Vice-President for Global Relations (2011-14) and Director of the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute (2015-20).</p><p>	Co-sponsored by the Early Modern Workshop, the Dept of Celtic Languages and Literatures, the Mahindra Humanities Center Seminar in Celtic Literature and Culture, and the Harvard International and Global History Seminar.</p>
