Call for Papers

The Harvard Department of Celtic Languages & Literatures cordially invites proposals for papers on topics which relate directly to Celtic Studies or Celtic languages and literatures in any phase; and papers on relevant cultural, historical or social science topics, theoretical perspectives, etc. for the 43rd annual Harvard Celtic Colloquium. Papers concerning interdisciplinary research with a Celtic focus are also invited.

The Colloquium will be an in-person event on the campus of Harvard University on October 11-13, 2024.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Benjamin Bruch of Pacific Buddhist Academy.

Attendance is free. Presentations should be no longer than twenty minutes, with a short discussion period after each paper. Papers given at the Colloquium may later be submitted for consideration by the editorial committee for publication in the Proceedings of the Harvard Celtic Colloquium. Potential presenters should submit an abstract of 200-250 words and a brief biographical sketch.
